Adult Hockey League
NJ Summer Classic
Hockey Initiation

Times
8:00am – 3:00pm

All camps are on ice at 8:15am so players are encouraged to leave themselves enough time to get dressed before the first on ice session.

Camp Includes

Two and half hours of ice time per day, professional off ice training, indoor and outdoor activities (no extra charge for tokens and laser tag)

Lunch

Campers may bring their own lunch or lunch can be provided by BSA for a $7.00 a day charge. A lunch menu for each week will be mailed out with your confirmation letter. At that time you will be able to sign up for the BSA lunch program.

$175 per week

Optional Recreation
$20 per day

No hockey lesson this day. Recreation includes ice skating, laser tag, softplay, arts & crafts, outdoor games, movies and more!

Specialized Hockey Camps

Week 1
Mites/Squirts
July 1-3

Growth of a Hockey Player Camp. The focus of this camp is to develop the foundation of a hockey player. No matter what skill level, all young players need the same building blocks under them.

Week 2
Goalie/Defenceman Camp
July 8-10

It is so important for specialized coaching in both positions. We all know that the closer to the goal net the mistake is made, the more likely it is to result in a Goal Against. This camp will teach position specific skills, but also in game situations.

Week 3
Battle/Checking Camp
July 15-17

Camp designed for PW and Older. The camp will teach the players how to use their body, edges, balance and other tricks of the trade to win more puck battles, deliver body checks and also receive a check, keeping them safer!

Week 4
Stick Handling
July 22-24

This camp will teach everything from the basics of puck control to special moves and how to improve your shot based on setting yourself up for quick and powerful releases.

Week 5
Girls Camp
July 29-31

An All Girls week is sure to be fun, but also keep things headed in the direction of the female athlete, not only on the ice but with gender specific off ice training as well.

Week 6
Power Skating
Aug 5-7

The #1 essential skill in the game is skating, and this camp will improve a players Starts, Stops, Stride, Foot-speed recovery and a whole lot more!
