Which party is right for my child?

The age of your child should guide your decision:

•Laser Tag parties are not suggested for children six and under. This is due primarily to the size and weight of the vest that they are required to wear. Six-year-old children are on the threshold of the size requirement; you should have them try one on before booking the party.

•Soft Play is ideal for younger children 7 and under. Note that noone age 10 or over is permitted in Soft Play.  Our Soft Play is exclusive to your party for 1 hour of your party time.

•Ice Skating parties are for ages 4 & up. Our smallest skate rental size is a toddler “8”. All children are asked to bring a bicycle helmet, especially beginners. We offer a group lesson during the party for inexperienced skaters, at an additional charge.

•Amusement parties are for ALL ages. This party is geared toward children with an interest in video games. The BSA Arcade consists of a variety of games including skeeball, air hockey tables, pinball, DDR, and assorted video games that appeal to young as well as older children. Keep in mind that all parties excluding the Amusement party include (12) tokens for the arcade.


Is there a minimum or maximum number of children for a party?

A minimum of 10 children, including the birthday child, is required. You will be charged for 10 children if you do not have the minimum number. There is no maximum number as Bridgewater Sports Arena is equipped to handle large groups for a variety of activities. Large parties, however, may be divided into groups when participating in activities such as laser tag. Be sure to include the birthday child in your head count.


How far in advance do I need to book?

Four to six weeks in advance is suggested. No less than one week away. You will need to give yourself plenty of time to plan your child’s party. It will take a day or two to get your invitations and contract from BSA. You will need to get the invitations to the kids, wait for a response from them, and get back to us NO LATER than five days before the party date with your final head count. So be sure to plan ahead!


What do I need to bring?

Just the children and a form of payment. We will take care of the rest. Goody bags, consisting of small toys and snack size candy, are an option at $4.50 per bag. They are generic for girls or boys. You are more than welcome to bring your own. Outside food is not permitted with the exception of special dietary needs. Given an adequate amount of time our facility can provide a wide variety of foods. Please keep in mind that gratuities for your party host/hostess are not included for parties that confirm less than 20 guest.  It is customary to tip 10%-20% of the total party cost.

May I bring my own food?

No, there is no outside food allowed in BSA.
