Well Documented Training
Winter 2014

The camp caters exclusively to those who have ambitions beyond the ordinary, 8-18 years. (AA & AAA players). The camp gives you a broad training supplies to then build itself on. Focus on building the individual technical skills. Skating and stick handling, Spatial perception, balance, coordination, timing, rhythm games, athleticism. The format is 4 x 50 min sessions per day.

Dr. Yasha Smushkin has for 63 years worked in the research and development of the elite in figure skating and hockey. Growing up in Moscow, Russian gymnastics champion, Russian champions in figure skating. Head of Soviet figure skating federation, responsible for the technical development of Soviet figure skating. Owners of private hockey institution in Canada that has produced the most NHL players, and a host of players to the Varsity and Junior leagues. Author of the trilogy Guide to Hockey Parents, Hockey Agility and Mastering Hockey agility. Training daily the Canadian Figure Skating elite and pupils within the Canadian Hockey Institute.

Those exercises used are developed from a biomechanical perspective in order to achieve a proper body control / posture on the ice. That can be proved with facts from research. In this way, we are far superior in terms of individual development and technology. Many people talk about what to do, we are talking about HOW to do it.
