The NJ Rockets Development Program is the best in the country. Please see below, and please contact John Puskar at jpuskar@rocketssportsgroup.com

About The Program:
The New Jersey Rockets Development Program (RDP) is a key component of the Rockets Hockey Club, and will be staffed by Rockets Sports Group employees including NJ Rockets head coaches. The RDP program is based on age-appropriate competition and training for boys and girls ages 8 and younger, beginning with their first exposure to the game and carrying them through Squirt hockey and beyond. The RDP places a heightened emphasis on skill development and long-term athlete development principles, providing a great start for the best possible youth hockey experience. The RDP follows USA Hockey’s American Development Model.

Our young Rockets will have FUN and are in constant motion in small spaces. The RDP utilizes station based instruction, small area games and cross-ice competition to deliver more repetitions, more puck touches and more skill development per hour of ice time. RDP provides the most efficient, most engaging development path for children, keeping them both in the game and on a path toward their full potential.

The RDP staff will see that your child improves their skating, puck handling and shooting skills along with learning the basic fundamentals of the game of hockey. And most importantly have FUN!
